Sennhesier counterfeiter convicted by UK court

19.03.15 - An online trader caught selling counterfeit Sennhesier singing microphone products has been convicted by a UK court. The verdict was given late last month, after the 31-year old trader from Cricklewood, London was caught selling fake Sennheiser proucts online. The perpetrator admitted selling the counterfeit items with a total value of €235,000 to more than 7,000 online customers via Amazon.

Derby shopkeeper Sarkaut Ali jailed

19.03.15 - A SHOPKEEPER from Derby who continued selling counterfeit cigarettes from his store despite being raided repeatedly by trading standards officers has been jailed for 36 weeks. Sarkaut Ali, of Cavendish Court, Derby, had shown a "blatant disregard" for public protection laws, said Judge William Hart. Iraqi-born Ali, 34, admitted fourteen offences against the Trademarks Act and 17 offences against the Consumer Protection Act at Gloucester Crown Court.
