ACG MEMBERS ONLY WEBINAR

ACG is partnering with the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to host a virtual discussion on WIPO ALERT, WIPO ALERT-PAY and the WIPO Customs Recordation and Information System (CRIS). The session will explore how ACG and AAFA members can engage with these initiatives to strengthen online and border enforcement. WIPO ALERT supports brand safety by enabling advertising stakeholders to avoid placing ads on sites identified by national authorities as copyright-infringing. WIPO ALERT-PAY, currently in development, extends this model by enabling information-sharing with payment providers to disrupt revenue streams linked to counterfeit and pirated content. CRIS will support the streamlined recordation of IP rights and enforcement requests with customs authorities.

Leading the discussion will be:

  • Nahal Zebarjadi, World Intellectual Property OrganiSation (WIPO).

If you would like to ask any questions in advance, please email Matt@a-cg.com by Friday 20th February
