11 August 2016
Frank King was presented with a Career Achievement Award upon his retirement from Westminster City Council Trading Standards on Wednesday 10 August.
Frank, well-known by most ACG members, has been a true supporter of ACG and the issues its members have faced with the sale of fakes, particularly in central London.
He and his team have won several ACG Department Awards over the years, but this year it was Frank’s turn.
During the 2016 nominations, Frank’s name kept cropping up and it was unanimously agreed that his dedication over the years needed to be formally recognised and so, with his team by his side, Alison Statham, ACG Director of Operations presented him with a Career Achievement Award.
ACG represents more than 3,000 brands affected by this influx of fakes into the UK and delivers an international network of information, advice and contacts on all aspects of IP protection. Working with Government and law enforcement agencies since 1980, ACG is focused on providing an effective and sustained response to counterfeiting.
Membership with the ACG is the best way to work with government and enforcement bodies to protect your brand. Our Roadshows and training days help you reach out to police, trading standards and border force officers and tell them about your genuine products.
