ACG celebrate World Anti-Counterfeiting Day

06 June 2018

Today, Wednesday 6 June, it's World Anti-Counterfeiting Day and ACG is celebrating by attending the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Symposium in Nottingham and announcing this years' winners of the ACG Awards for Excellence in Anti-Counterfeiting.

The ACG Awards were first introduced in 1994 to recognise the excellent enforcement work happening in the fight against the trade in counterfeit goods.

“ACG is proud to support Trading Standards and we attend CTSI every year in order to celebrate the work of Trading Standards and build on new and existing relationships.

Counterfeit goods pose an enormous risk to the health and safety of consumers and Trading Standards are involved in significant activities that are helping to combat counterfeiting and seize large numbers of dangers goods” commented Alison Statham, Director General for ACG.
