ACG IP Open Day at Felixstowe

11 November 2021

Yesterday saw 8 brand members join the Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) at the Felixstowe Port. Enforcement Officers based at the port hosted the first ACG IP Open Day since 2019.

The brands that were represented at this Open Day were:

  •          Adidas
  •          JML
  •          Diageo
  •          Procter and Gamble
  •           Apple
  •          Phillip Morris Limited
  •          Victoria Secret
  •          Bath and Body Works

There was a great turn out from the officers who were able to come and talk to brand representative about how to spot a fake from a genuine item.

The ACG are glad to be able to be out on the road with members to be able to present to enforcement officers. It not only allows to help build knowledge around Intellectual property and counterfeiting but is a great way to build relationships between brands and enforcement.

Keep your eyes peeled as more IP Open Days will be in the diary for 2022.
