The ACG (Anti-Counterfeiting Group) hosted its fourth Intellectual Property Roadshow of the year at Kempton Park Racecourse yesterday.
Enforcement delegates from Border Force, Police, Trading Standards, HMRC and business heard updates from ACG about its ongoing lobbying and enforcement activities, learnt more about the Anti Illicit Trade Industry Working Group and saw spotlight presentations from some of the brands such as; no!no!, Dermawand, SKY and Imperial Brands.
Later in the afternoon Graham Mogg, ACG Intelligence Coordinator and Patricia Lennon, Real Deal Online shared some of their latest innovative enforcement initiatives.
ACG members from more than 40 brands and Border Force Officers from London Heathrow, spoke to delegates as they wandered around the exhibits during the breaks and examined the different branded genuine and counterfeit goods.
ACG represents more than 3,000 brands affected by this influx of fakes into the UK and delivers an international network of information, advice and contacts on all aspects of IP protection. Working with Government and law enforcement agencies since 1980, ACG is focused on providing an effective and sustained response to counterfeiting.
Membership with the ACG is the best way to work with government and enforcement bodies to protect your brand. Our Roadshows and training days help you reach out to police, trading standards and border force officers and tell them about your genuine products.
