ACG highlighted the issues faced in preventing fake goods from crossing our borders by running a Border Force Training Day at Tilbury, Essex on Thursday 21 September.
Enforcement officers from Tilbury Port and London Gateway were invited to visit the exhibits for big brands such as The Premier League, Puma, Unilever, Louis Vuitton and ghd, and talk about the issues face in identifying a genuine branded product from a counterfeit copy.
“The session at Tilbury was excellent. It was so nice to see so many officers and everyone was very interested in what we all had to say” commented an ACG brand member. ACG will be hosting other enforcement training events and roadshows throughout the year. To find out more check Events on the ACG website.
