Trading Standards officers from across the UK were recognised for their qualification successes at a recent Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Awards Dinner in Nottingham.
The awards dinner was part of ‘The Institute Celebrates Success’ programme designed to allow trading standards graduates to celebrate their collective successes and achievements with their peers.
The Anti-Counterfeit Group (ACG) once again sponsored the Intellectual Property (IP) examination award and the winner of this year’s award was Catherine Webb, Isle of Anglesey County Council. Regretfully Catherine wasn’t able to attend the CTSI awards dinner but her award was collected by Gareth Walter, Monmouthshire County Council Trading Standards.
Alison Statham, ACG Director General who presented the award commented “ACG is delighted to sponsor the CTSI IP award and support an exam module that builds knowledge and understanding of intellectual property. Congratulations to Catherine and I look forward to the day when we can present her with one of our own ACG enforcement awards for Excellence in Anti-Counterfeiting”.
