On Thursday 5 July, ACG and ACACAP held a joint workshop at The Shard in London to explore intelligence led anti-counterfeiting enforcement strategies from Asia to the UK.
Tailored specifically to brand protection managers who have manufacturing or trading interests in Asia, this workshop provided them with effective ways of utilising intelligence sharing to mitigate the risks of counterfeiting in Asia and the UK.
Delegates heard speakers from brand protection professionals including; ACG, ACACAP, Ted Baker, the International Centre for Counter Terrorism, Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU), Richemont and Unilever.
“This has been a really interesting and thought provoking day. I think it will have helped everyone to get a fresh perspective on the threats, actions and solutions necessary to tackle counterfeiting and that will have an impact on our brand protection strategies” commented a workshop attendee.
With thanks to Mathys & Squire LLP and Incopro for sponsoring this event.
