05 June 2021
World Anti-Counterfeiting Day this year is on Tuesday 8 June and the ACG will be celebrating the day by hosting a training event for enforcement officers.
We have more than 600 officers registered to join us at an event that will highlight the issues faced by brands during key sporting events, such as the up-coming Euros and Olympic Games.
Brands will be presenting to officers across the UK and showing them what to look out for when investigating traders and finding stocks of fake products such as swimming costumes, football shirts, watches, gym wear etc.
There will be more news on World Anti-Counterfeiting Day and if you are interested in getting involved, do get in touch via email@example.com and follow #WorldACDay on social media.
ACG represents more than 3,000 brands affected by this influx of fakes into the UK and delivers an international network of information, advice and contacts on all aspects of IP protection. Working with Government and law enforcement agencies since 1980, ACG is focused on providing an effective and sustained response to counterfeiting.
Membership with the ACG is the best way to work with government and enforcement bodies to protect your brand. Our Roadshows and training days help you reach out to police, trading standards and border force officers and tell them about your genuine products.
