27.02.15 - A shop trader in Kilburn who sold fake mobile phones, tablets and electric goods which could injure or kill has been fined. T Elie Khoury, 41, from Paddington, sold the counterfeit goods to his unsuspecting customers at a shop in Kilburn High Road.

26.02.15 - South Gloucestershire Council successfully prosecuted a Bradley Stoke woman for possessing and selling counterfeit luxury goods and cosmetics at Northavon Magistrates' Court on Thursday 19th February. Rebecca Farr, 34, of Brake Close was convicted of possessing and selling counterfeit luxury goods and cosmetics online via Facebook.

26.02.15 - An online perfume seller who sold counterfeit fragrances from his website was found guilty today at Ipswich Magistrates Court. DSCN0775Radi Naydev, 31, formally of Holland Road, Felixstowe was found guilty of eight charges under the Trade Marks Act for the sale and possession of counterfeit fragrances whilst trading as DREAMSTORAGE LIMITED in 2009. Naydev was the Director of the company which dissolved in 2011.

25.02.15 - A woman who tried to smuggle almost £3million-worth of fake toothbrushes and razor blades has been sentenced to 15 months in prison. Jocelyn Hunter was caught trying to illegally import the Oral B toothbrushes and Gillette Fusion razor blades in a complex scam which took place over the course of a year.

25.02.15 - A dodgy market trader has been caught selling perfume labelled as Chamele No 5. The seller was caught flogging the bottles of perfume – a knock-off of the famous Chanel No 5 perfume - for £10 at Surrey Street Market in Croydon, south London.

25.02.15 - Illegal cigarettes, tobacco and alcohol - some may be counterfeit - worth almost £7,000 were seized after sniffer dogs swooped on convenience stores in High Wycombe. The joint operation between Buckinghamshire Trading Standards and HM Revenue and Customs seized contraband from 11 small shops across town.

24.02.15 - A FRAUDSTER who was selling fake designer speakers, clothes and watches through Facebook has been given a suspended prison sentence. At Cardiff Crown Court Che Siirak, 19, of York Place, Barry pleaded guilty to 15 offences under the Trademarks Act relating to the possession and supply of counterfeit goods including fake Dre Beats speakers, fake Gucci and Louis Vuitton clothes as well as fake Rolex, Tag Heuer, and Michael Kors watches.

23.02.15 - The illegal cigarettes and hand rolling tobacco found at Discount Store in Turners Hill, Cheshunt exceeded the maximum levels for tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide. Sonbaba Ltd and Huseyin Hezer, 41, of Broadoak Avenue, Enfield, pleaded guilty to all charges at Watford Magistrates Court on Monday.

23.02.15 - A cash and carry owner who repeatedly sold fake alcohol must pay almost £3,000. Rajandram Yasotharan, who owns Mollison Way Food and Wine in Edgware, was prosecuted by Harrow Trading Standards for the second time.
