The latest ACG IP Roadshow was held on 5 May 2016 at Celtic Football Club, Glasgow. More than 35 brands exhibited and nearly 100 delegates attended from the police, trading standards and customs.

09.05.16 - Darlington Magistrates' Court heard today (Monday, May 9) that Fergal Hague bought the sunglasses for £5 a pair off Ebay, then sold them on at £30 a pair after advertising them as genuine Oakleys.

06.05.16 - A Bristol businessman who sold counterfeit t-shirts featuring popular bands such as Motorhead, the Ramones and Blur was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday 5 May. Andrew Minter, 55, of High Street, Wickwar, was found guilty of counterfeiting offences involving online sales of over 1,600 t-shirts bearing artwork for a number of well-known bands.

06.05.16 - ALMOST 6,000 packs of illegal and counterfeit cigarettes and tobacco worth £28,000 have been seized in raids in Burnley. The swoop by Lancashire County Council Trading Standards officers, is the sixth so far this year and has been hailed by borough council leader, Cllr Mark Townsend as good news for health, the taxpayer and small shopkeepers.

28.04.16 - A bungling crook was caught with nearly £20,000 of counterfeit goods after he pulled up outside a house about to be raided by police. Derek Walker had piles of fake goods, including Ugg boots and Beats headphones, in the back of the white van when he arrived at the rural property in Keith.
