The UK has been independently assessed as a world leader in enforcement. To deliver all this we will continue to work with our domestic and international partners from industry, law enforcement and government, to address the multiple and growing challenges posed by IP infringement and counterfeiting.

The latest ACG IP Roadshow was held on 5 May 2016 at Celtic Football Club, Glasgow. More than 35 brands exhibited and nearly 100 delegates attended from the police, trading standards and customs.

06.05.16 - A Bristol businessman who sold counterfeit t-shirts featuring popular bands such as Motorhead, the Ramones and Blur was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday 5 May. Andrew Minter, 55, of High Street, Wickwar, was found guilty of counterfeiting offences involving online sales of over 1,600 t-shirts bearing artwork for a number of well-known bands.

28.04.16 - A bungling crook was caught with nearly £20,000 of counterfeit goods after he pulled up outside a house about to be raided by police. Derek Walker had piles of fake goods, including Ugg boots and Beats headphones, in the back of the white van when he arrived at the rural property in Keith.
