18.11.16 - Three con artists who sold thousands of fake garments including One Direction tops over eBay face a three-week court hearing to seize their assets. The gang sold thousands of shirts and hooded tops, mostly bearing counterfeit logos for the boy band, over three years.

Number of counterfeit goods seized by EU authorities continued to rise in 2015

23.09.16 - Customs authorities across the EU seized an estimated five million more counterfeit items in 2015 than the previous year, according to new figures released today by the European Commission. This means that the number of intercepted goods grew by 15% compared to 2014. More than 40 million products suspected of violating an intellectual property right were detained at the EU's external borders, with a value of nearly €650 million.

Arrests in Londonderry over counterfeit items

15.06.16 - During the operation, Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, assisted by local police, searched three houses and a mobile shop in the cityside area of Derry. 
During the searches they seized a quantity of counterfeit clothing, music, films and documentation as well as approximately £2,500 cash.
