08.06.16 - DIE-hard England fans are funding drugs, sex gangs and people trafficking ops by buying cheap shirts at Euro 2016. It's believed illegal shirt trade is funding drug-runners, people smugglers and vice gangs because these are the people who control the counterfeiting operations in places like China and Turkey.

12.05.16 - From 2014 to 2015 the MHRA seized fake Viagra valued at £3,890,516 from a yearly total of counterfeit drugs of £8,696,067. From 2015 to 2016 this had tripled to £11,205,342, making up 90% of counterfeit drugs seized that year.

Retailer ordered to pay more than £100k in counterfeit goods case

10.05.16 - Under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, Musejee was ordered to pay back £100,000 after the Court determined that he had made this sum from his criminal activity. If the amount is not paid within three months, Musejee faces a prison sentence of two years in default. He must also pay £3,000 in costs.

Counterfeit merchandiser sentenced thanks to Trading Standards investigation

06.05.16 - A Bristol businessman who sold counterfeit t-shirts featuring popular bands such as Motorhead, the Ramones and Blur was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday 5 May. Andrew Minter, 55, of High Street, Wickwar, was found guilty of counterfeiting offences involving online sales of over 1,600 t-shirts bearing artwork for a number of well-known bands.
